Protech Technical Enterprises is a firm, which undertakes major construction, maintenance and project management related activities, and is registered with the Electrical Contracting Board of South Africa and is an affiliated member of the National Consumers Council.The basic philosophy of the firm is to provide a full range of professional services in electrical construction, -maintenance and project management and to seek and identify new opportunities for development as they occur, and to expand the range of services while ensuring that only those services are rendered, which the firm is competent to provide.Protech Technical Enterprises is a medium sized firm that has the ability to put together and coordinate a comprehensive organization of various disciplines to meet the requirements of large capital projects.Protech Technical Enterprises has been involved in a number of major projects, country wide, as well as many smaller assignments all of which have been successfully completed

A successfull company History

The firm was established in January of 1997 in Centurion, and has since expanded and grown to be a major contracting companyThe firm and/or its members have experience in a wide range of projects, which cover virtually every aspect of construction and maintenance.The firm further strive to qualify itself and tower above all competitors in service experience and knowledge. Therefor we are one of the few companies that are qualified as Master Electricians and thus have no restrictions on the type of Electrical work that can be undertaken.

In order to keep abreast with the modern day “fast tracking” implementation of building projects, all our documentation is standardized and computerized. The software used furthermore enhances the necessity of the computer.Each project is monitored and updated on a daily basis on project management software to ensure timely completion.

Tools and Machinery
This company is a firm believer in having the right tools to do the job.

  1. We have eight LDV’S to improve our response time to emergency call outs
  2. All artisans have a full set of tools to cope with the workload allocated to them.
  3. We have our own generators to work in remote area’s where power is not readily available
  4. We have scaffolding to reach that high out of reach places (13M)
  5. We own a full set of high tention tools, phasing sticks, link sticks, impulse testers, 10 KV Meggars etc.
  6. Our pride is our top of the range purification plant

  1. Establishment of cost limit on the clients requirements
  2. Preliminary estimates of cost based on the architect’s sketch designs
  3. Recommendations on design, material, specification etc. in order to keep within the cost limit
  4. Final estimates based on the working drawings and further recommendations on savings if required
  5. Recommendation on the utilization of local materials

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

This service does not attempt to replace the traditional role of other consultants but is an additional service provided where fast implementation and effective cost control are primary requirementsProtech Technical Enterprises role in project management may cover a complete assignment or portions of a project. In either case the firm endeavors to control the progress so that the project is completed in the required time, at the budgeted cost and to the specified quality.
